Leveransen

Haha! Den 18:e december förra året krånglade jag mig igenom en omständig process för att beställa en platta med Kraig Jarret Johnson från en baskisk websida (det hela finns dokumenterat i detalj här) och idag - den 12:e april 2010 - anlände den äntligen efter en hel del konstigheter. Tillåt mig illustrera det hela genom att publicera min e-mail korrespondens med de berörda parterna:

2009-12-18: Beställer plattan från www.musikaze.com

2010-01-24: Mailar via formulär på ovan nämnda hemsida och frågar vad som händer med min order då jag inte ens fått leveransbekräftelse.

2010-01-27: Får svar och hänvisas till en snubbe som har hand om CD beställningar från skivbolaget Bittersweet som plattan är släppt på.

2010-01-27: Skickar följande mail till ovan nämnda snubbe:

"Hi!

I ordered the Kraig Jarret Johnson CD from your site over a month ago and I was just wondering what is going on with my order as I haven't recieved the CD yet? My order number is:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Let me know, and get back to me at:

2010-02-10: Skickar ytterligare ett mail:

"Hi!

Maybe you didn’t get the mail that I sent you two weeks ago – so I will ask you once again:

I ordered the Kraig Jarret Johnson CD from your site on December 18 and I sent you the money for it, which you’ve drawn from my account. I haven’t received the CD since then and have not even received any shipping confirmation so I was wondering if you could let me know what is going on with my order?

The order number is:

2010-02-21: Skickar följande mail till muzikaze.com:

"Hi!

I mailed you guys three weeks ago or so and asked what is happening with my CD order (order number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and you reffered me to this guy:

Now I have emailed him two times during these past weeks, asking what is going on with my order, but he never replies. Perhaps he doesn't understand English? Could you guys ask him & find out what's going on?
I ordered the CD before christmas, the money was drawn from my account and then nothing has happened. No shipping confirmation, no CD, no nothing. I live in Sweden so delivery should only take a couple of days.

I am afraid we have suffered a big sequence of unfortunate coincidences and bad luck:We have been going thru so many changes in here in the last months.Bittersweet records has changed from hand to hand and we had long conversations about who is taking care of stock.

Unfortunatly we ran out of stock Redd Kross records...I will find the way to give you your money back and I will find also the way to conpensate you (maybe send you some other cd for free?).

I am now taking care of this problem and I give you my word I will be in contact.,this is my personal email address.

2010-04-12: Jag får en avi för ett rekommenderat brev och går ner och hämtar ut det. Lo and behold - det är Kraig Jarret CDn!

Hamen. Tur att man genom alla år av skivsamleri och beställningar ifrån kufiska kufar har utvecklat ett enormt tålamod och relativt goda diplomatiska skills. Det hela resulterade ju iaf att man kom över en ultra-raritet för en rimlig summa och från det lilla jag hört hittills verkar den vara en klockren platta. Hä, dags för käk och en fördjupad lyssning ute i solen.
